Each year , usually sometime in August, the club holds a Pennsylvania Hunter - Trapper Education class. This class is required for all 1st time hunters regardless of their age. Many experienced hunters are also required to take it if they are planning an out of state hunt. We had 35 students attend last year, all of which successfully completed the class.
There is no cost for this event, it's open to the public, and a free lunch is provided. . All students must pre-register on The Game Commissions Website. This is a volunteer effort on behalf of the club and it's members. We would like to thank all the instructors, the kitchen volunteers for lunch, and the club for footing the bill for lunch.
